Back to Our Public Outreach
Reaching out to the Hispanic community, volunteers with our Hispanic Task Force address cultural issues and overcome misconceptions that prevent many Hispanics from saying "yes" to organ and tissue donation.
Hispanic Task Force members are from the communities, schools, businesses, civic organizations and other agencies throughout Chicago and northern Illinois to provide donation education at:
- Community festivals such as Chicago's Fiesta Mayo and
Puerto Rican Festival
- Donor registration health fairs
- Church programs
- School education programs
