Giving or receiving the gift of hope through donation and transplantation is a life-changing experience.

Many transplant recipients want to thank everyone who made their life-giving transplant possible, including the families of their organ donors. Many families of donors are interested in sending wishes of support to those who live on through their loved one’s donation.

Whether it has been 10 days, 10 months or 10 years, transplant recipients and families of donors can write to each other through Gift of Hope. Identities remain anonymous unless the donor’s family and the recipient decide to release their information to one another.

If and when you decide you would like to write, Gift of Hope’s Donor Family Services staff will coordinate this process for you.
